The challenge

Mark Skin Expert had grown into a substantial independent blog and review platform, but the WordPress build had become slow and cumbersome because of the sheer volume of content. With more than 500 pages across five geographic regions and languages, the site needed a publishing setup that could scale without dragging down performance.

The solution

I migrated the site from WordPress to Eleventy and restructured it as a faster static publishing platform. That removed the performance overhead of the old CMS, made blog writing much easier to manage, and created a cleaner technical base for ongoing SEO-led content production across multiple regional sections.

The result

Pages now load quickly, are indexed by search engines within days, and regularly rank in the top 10 for targeted searches thanks to stronger PageSpeed performance and careful SEO content writing. The result is a global content site that is significantly easier to maintain and much more effective at attracting organic traffic.
